I’ve been itching to visit this place and try out their dishes. I heard a lot of good feedback to this place from bloggers to media friends, which got me curious enough to try. One fateful night, Buen, Jackie, and I head to Cul-De-Sac in Sto. Nino Village in Banilad. We braved the traffic and arrived hungry at the place.
Cebu’s culinary scene got residents turning their homes into restaurants. My favorite is STK Ta Bai ni Paulito’s in Capitol Site and the nearby Kuya J’s. Both are old charming houses turned restos.
I prefer to dine at a place where the food is good at reasonable prices. Apparently, Cul-De-Sac (which means dead-end in French) is one of those home-turned-restaurants to one of the brains behind the secret ingredients to Dimsum Break’s dumplings. People would go out of their way to dine, and couples would usually find themselves dining in private away from the crowded spots in the metro.
So there you have it. A complete meal at an affordable price. This was our last dinner out as a trio.
