After its successful premier season, Julie’s Bakeshop brings back the Julie’s Chief Baker – Student Edition.
The reality baking TV show features student bakers handpicked from the top culinary schools in Visayas. The show aims to highlight the creative skills and ingenuity of the student bakers to come up with new recipes. The comeback season will feature 9 episodes that is scheduled to air starting October 19 to December 20, 2015 on TV5 across Visayas and Mindanao; and in Luzon on cable.
Hosted by food blogger and writer Michael Karlo Lim with co-host ISCAHM’s pastry chef, Jerad “Jed” Gajudo, the Julie’s Chief Baker – Student Edition’s second season will surely keep audiences on their toes following every thrilling episode that includes time-bounded challenges and surprise ingredients that will only be announced on the shooting day as well. On top of all the excitement, students will also do bread costing to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
The ten competing schools vying for the Julie’s Chief Baker title are Asian College of Technology, Cebu Technological University – Camotes Campus, Cebu Technological University – Danao Campus, Department of Manpower Development and Placement Cebu, Golden Success College, Mandaue City College, TESDA Tubigon (Bohol), University of Cebu Main Campus, Mines and Geosciences Cebu, and University of Southern Philippines Foundation.
