If your menu is as good as the view, people would drive up for an hour or two for good food and drinks. Locals would grab the opportunity to show off to their out-of-town friends the panoramic view of the city up in Busay, especially at night. Here are some of the local recommendations:
Mr. A Bar & Restaurant
Mr. A overlooks the top of Cebu plus they have conference rooms that can house small groups. There’s a small trellis that has wrought-iron tables and chairs that adds charm to the area. This spot has been a local hang out for evening drinks up in the mountains.
Why it’s worth the trip: you can get privacy for group functions. Ideal for team dinner parties.
Operating Hours:
11:30 am to 2:00 am
Top of Cebu
Dine under a canopy of twinkling stars with strings of fairy lights illuminating the whole place over tables and chairs. They recently added something new to their menu that is worth checking out. You can take this as a side trip before or after your trip to Sirao Flower Farm and Temple of Leah.

Balay Sa Busay
You will be rewarded with a beautiful scenic view from their balcony. This house-themed restaurant is perched by the mountainside, making you feel at home. The temperature drops at night but they have a small bonfire to keep the warmth going. Just bring a lightweight cover-up if you get cold easily.
Why it’s worth the trip: the resto gives off homey feels and everything on the menu is simply delish! You have to try their Chickenillo – a roasted chicken that is so tender that you can cut it using a small plate.

Mon-Thurs: 11 am to 10 pm
Fri-Sat: 11 am to 11 pm
Sun: 10 am to 11pm
La Vie in the Sky
This is the latest addition to Cebu’s destination restaurants. The French owners of La Vie Parisienne upped their game with this concept. This French-inspired dining spot offers baked goodies, deli, and a wine library. Their interiors are perfect for your OOTN.
Why it’s worth the trip: if you feel like dressing up for a date night to enjoy a glass of good wine, this one’s worth the visit.

Daily: 10 am-2 am
Good food, drinks, and good company make a good evening with your friends. Ditch the usual hang-out places and watering holes in the metropolis and head the mountains for a change. Be sure to bring your camera and some lightweight cover-up for chilly nights.
